Four SSK players appear in 2008 post-season play.

SSK congratulates the four advisory staff Major League players and one field manager who are competing in 2008 post-season play.

Bobby Jenks-Right Handed Closer for the Chicago White Sox
Jenks was a closer in 2005, when the White Sox defeated the Houston Astros in game 4 to become the World Series Champions. Bobby successfully closed the one game gtie breakerh with the Minnesota Twins. He is one of the premier closers in Major League Baseball, and appeared in 57 games and saved 30 games with a 2.63 RBI this year.

Hiroki Kurdoa-Right Handed Starter for the Los Angeles Dodgers
Kuroda feels very fortunate to pitch in post-season play for the first time in his 11-year professional carrier (including Japan). Hiroki earned 9 wins in his rookie season of Major League Baseball. He started 31 games and pitched 183 innings with a 3.73 RBI.

Joe Saunders-Left Handed Starter of the Los Angels Angeles
Saunders had a breakthrough season earning a career-high 16 wins in the 2008 regular season. Joe pitched in the All Star game for the first time this past summer at New York Yankee Stadium. He started 31 games while pitching 198 innings with an impressive 3.41 RBI.

Reggie Willits-Utility Outfield of the Los Angeles Angels
Willits is very excited to make the cut to the post-season roster. His playing time was limited this year because of a major acquisition, but Reggie is a precious asset for the team. He can field, run and hit - pretty much an all around player. He could play a key role to win games.

Mike Scioscia-Field Manager of the Los Angeles Angels
Scioscia is known one of the most respected managers in Major League baseball. Mike led the team to victory in the 2002 World Series. Under Sciosciafs leadership, the Angels achieved an amazing 100 wins this season. He has used SSK fungo bats for many years, since he was with the LA Dodgers.

We at SSK wish the players the best as they seek to bring a World Series Championship Trophy home for their team.
