Signed contract with 7 Major Leaguers

SSK Corporation (President: Kyoichi Sasaki) signed contracts with 7 Major Leaguers for the 2007 season.

Omar Vizquel, the 11-time Gold Glove winner; Julio Franco, the oldest regular position player in MLB, who last year became the oldest player in major league history to hit a home run and has the experience of playing on a Japanese baseball team; Takashi Saito, who flew to the U.S. to advance his career and converted 24 of 26 save opportunities, breaking the Dodger's single-season rookie save record; Bobby Jenks, who grew into the closer of the White Sox; Jose Lopez and Yuniesky Betancourt, the second baseman and shortstop of the Mariners; Joe Saunders, a left-hander, who put in an outstanding performance last year and is most likely to be placed on rotation this year. SSK expects a lot from these remarkable players.
