Robinson Cano bringing SSK lumber to the All-star game

New York Yankeesf second baseman Robinson Cano was selected by fans (with an overwhelming 4,135,305 votes) to start for the American Leaguefs 2010 All-Star team in Anaheim, CA. Cano, who went into play Sunday with an AL-best .346 average, was selected for the second time and is making his first start at second base.

Robinson, who was named after baseball legend Jackie Robinson, has been swinging an SSK bat all year, right from opening day. He prefers a solid 34" - 33 oz. bat made from American white Ash in a Black Barrel/Natural Handle.

Everyone at SSK is eagerly looking forward to the All-Star game, and will be pulling for Robinson Cano to take an extra large helping at the Anaheim plate.
